If elected to the office of Treasurer for Louisiana, I ensure the major components to our campaign will be limits and transparency. For too long our state political system of the corrupt "good ole boys" establishment has run our state. This is not the proper conduct one should have while working in the name of the people of our beautiful state. This is why transparency is a must in our modern-day political arena of special interest and serving self.
If you entrust me with the office of State Treasurer, I will take my oath with the same integrity as when I made the oath to serve and protect this nation as a member of the United States Navy. This is why I make but two promises to you, I will not use this office as a spring-board for higher office. I will serve only two terms, two full terms. Second promise, I will work for the people of Louisiana. As a Libertarian, I am almost an Independent. I am not beholden to special interest,
party bosses, or lobbyist. I will only be beholden to you, the people. Lastly, I cannot write the laws. That is a power of the State Legislature. I will recommend the Governor and members of the legislature on budgetary matters and matters of spending. I plan to make a balanced budget that will be simple enough for everyone to understand and publish it on the treasurers website. I will also account for every single cent that our elected representatives spend, right down to the penny.
